Ease of installation. on spare parts

I chose this valve because it has a more UV resistant plastic for longer life. I've gone through two of the cheaper plastics which I find become brittle and break too quickly.

Pros
  • acceptable
Cons
  • quality

But good valves. on seals

Installed 3 of these valves in my RV about 18 months ago. Today I wanted to close one of them and the plastic handle just broke. The plastic has become brittle. I've ordered 3 more, hope they last longer.

Pros
  • fingers crossed
Cons
  • secret

Identical replacement for what came with RV

This is an exact replacement for what came with our RV so it was easy to install. It's exposed plastic so I expect it to only last a few years, but it's easy to replace and inexpensive.

Pros
  • . Fingers crossed
Cons
  • Great price

Leaks when used as a low point drain in a pressurized system.

I tried a few of these because they were cheap but they all leaked into my RV's airtight system. I ended up going to Home Depot and buying metal ball valves for irrigation systems, which work well and aren't very expensive. Bean

Pros
  • A dream come true
Cons
  • Makes me nervous

The fit was perfect, no mods needed to be installed quickly

What a pleasant surprise. Exactly this product is advertised. Delivered on time as promised. It appears to be a quality product. It will probably last as long as the factory unit. Installation was perfect, no mods needed to be installed quickly. Would buy again if needed. mounted on my 1997 Casita trailer. .

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • Something different

Exact replacement for my old valve.

My 30 year old camper was bought used about 3 years ago and the valve worked fine for the next 2 years to drain fresh water, then recently the handle broke. I don't assume the valve is 30 years old and was replaced earlier. I tried upgrading it with a solid metal valve but couldn't find an easy solution. This should work for several years.

Pros
  • cool product
Cons
  • crumpled packaging

Misleading description

This is ONLY for 1/2 inch ID tubing. I thought that would mean it would fit a 3/8" ID hose, but I was wrong. If you don't know your hose size, run the hose in your RV until you see black letters on the See hose. Hose. This letter indicates the size of the hose, both inside and outside diameter. Buy your product accordingly. If it's a 3/8" ID, look elsewhere (eg (Camco 222223, available from Revain).

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Hard to remember but it was
