Great Replacement - Plumbing

The handle on the solution tank drain valve under our motorhome broke. It screwed right in and was a direct replacement.

Pros
  • Very Good Price
Cons
  • Goes with

You get what you pay for!

I bought these valves to install on the drains at the bottom of our trailer. They don't seal completely and drip constantly. There is always a wet spot under the camper.

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • I won't say anything

Like the original (not very good)

Like the original, de-energized. Didn't have time to find a better option before the RV trip. I've spent some time in the plumbing department at HD. and couldn't find a suitable replacement. I plan to buy in a few years!

Pros
  • Everything is great!
Cons
  • Has been damaged

Serves its purpose but leaks a bit when installed

Good fit, good product description, easy installation. Worked as it should for the most part, but there is the tiniest leak - every 10 seconds it drips. It's not about the thread, it's about the inner seal. So it does the job, but for the price I wasn't expecting a leak.

Pros
  • Robust design
Cons
  • No automatic

I didn't know how to replace my drain valve which was literally falling apart but I took the plunge and bought this one. I grabbed my old lazy collapsing valve with some sort of duct lock and it unscrewed easily. Apply pipe lube to this part, screw in and you're done! It only took me 2 minutes to get scared of the problems we all face when we 'fix' our RVs. It has now been on my spare list for 5 years and I will be buying it again.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Update available
