PetSafe Barrier Transmitter Operators Multiple Review

Just bought a second one, works great for keeping our dog from scratching our doors for squirrels or when he sees us coming home . Tired of moving the one we have back and forth between doors.

Bought 2 collars and a transmitter to teach my cats to stay off my bed. He worked for a few days, after which both cats started ignoring him. Bought new batteries but nothing works. Expensive for cat jewelry!

I bought this because the description said it was compatible with PetSafe ground wire fences. It didn't work and when I called PetSafe they said it wasn't compatible. Unfair complaint against a seller, but potential buyers should be aware of this.

Non-mountable. I needed this for my beagle who was literally clawing at the basement door until he broke through and gnawed through it. I had to mount the transmitter at the top of the stairs and had to come up with a device to mount it horizontally on the wall. .

Works very well. We already had an earth fence and were able to use the existing collar. To set the range, I simply placed the collar on the ground where I wanted the edge and adjusted the transmit power until I heard the collar beep. Less than 10 minutes from packaging to completion.
