The wire diameter is correct for AWG20 and it is solid copper, not aluminum or steel conductor. The resulting wire will look like the photo (yellow). Weight corresponds to the specified 500 feet (length not measured). The insulation is unrated and melts at a lower temperature than most solder joints. IMO, this wire is suitable for wire antennas (probably not for the intended purpose). I don't know yet if the insulation is UV resistant. After 1.5 months: This wire stretched on one of my antennas

Dogs wear collars all the time and can sometimes walk right over the wire without shock. I don't trust the system as much as I should and it's frustrating when we make sure the loop is up and they can still get through. But on the other hand, the wire runs near our garage and house, and that's where the collar receiver picks up a signal from the wiring around the house or something and sharpens it for no reason just sitting around the house. So I don't know what to think of this, but will…

This made the next steps completely pointless. However, I contacted support and got the instructions I needed. The support rep agreed that the issue is with management and hopefully they will fix it. Now to the effectiveness of the boundary wire. It only took my German Shepherd Dog 3 days to start respecting…
