Toast for 4 months

Bought in June and already a toast. The battery connections are loose. Considering what these things cost, they should last more than 4 months.

Pros
  • Sea of positive emotions
Cons
  • Availability upgrade

doesn't last! suitable for training and behavior

This is my second collar which has completely died off 6-9 months after purchase. The new batteries don't work so I have to replace them AGAIN. SO DISAPPOINTED!

Unreliable and disappointing

Worked great for the first week or so and then our dog started running and walking on it without any shock at all. No beep, no electric shock, the collar was on and everything was ready. I don't know what happened but it was too unreliable and frustrating.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Good but not great

Disappointed with learning and behavioral aids

I am very disappointed in this product. I bought three of these collars in December and now they don't work in May. They worked great when we first got them, but I've now replaced the batteries in all three collars and they no longer beep, vibrate, or thump. These collars are only six months old and I have spent over $500 installing an underground fence and purchasing these collars.

Pros
  • Handsfree
Cons
  • Negative experience

Give your pup the freedom to run!

This product works great. My dog was constantly running out of my yard onto the freeway and I always had to tie him up in the yard. I have an Akita and he weighs about 110 pounds at just under a year old. I ended up using 6 gauge wire, which I bought locally due to my northern climate and the amount of belongings I have. I wired about 2.5 acres of land, and after playing around with it a bit, I figured out my problem with firing the wire. I am happy to announce that my dog no longer leaves the…

Pros
  • Annual Trial
Cons
  • Frequency

Our rescued 1 year old German Shepherd/Husky is a master at escaping our fenced yard. After his 7th escape in 2 weeks (including one when he was on leash and in a fenced yard with an adult) we ordered this system to be installed inside our fence line. We've been hesitant to use static correction, but we know it's more humane than letting him run away and potentially get stuck in traffic. So today is day 2 of training (the first day you introduce static correction) and after 2-3 jumps at level 2

  • Happy so far

Perfect way to protect my dog

I installed this myself and am not tech savvy. It took me a really long time to bury the wire, but that's okay because it works whether you bury it or not. The hardest part was calibrating the boundary distance. I have a Shiba Inu puppy who loves to slide in a harness and we live directly across from a VERY busy road. A physical fence is too expensive for the size of my yard, so we decided that an invisible fence would be the best option. I followed the included tutorial carefully and Larry…
