This is a great product to deter your cat from scratching your furniture. You simply tear off the strip, attach it to the product and the cat will avoid it! Easy to use.

I've put this tape on wherever my cat likes to scratch and so far it's definitely stopped him from scratching the couch. I hope he stops completely when his scratching post is there. Between the duct tape and the new scratching post, I'm hoping to kick his habit of completely ruining our sofa.

Definitely a decent product and I'm sure no cat would want to scratch it from both sides because it's sticky but I just thought it was plastic and used as a repellent don't get me wrong , it's creative but it gives the illusion of a thick band so it doesn't look good to me so I tend to use it with my furniture facing the wall, overall comfortable and not a bad price

I have bought other cat scratch protection products in the past and they were sticky on one side (to stick to furniture) but not on one side side the side that faces out. This side was just a hard acrylic product. Not so with this one. It's a roll of double-sided tape, period. Both sides are very sticky. The stickiness on the outside is to deter the cat from scratching it. But... phew. It grabs every bit of dirt, dust, and cat hair to create a fluffy, messy streak. Terrible. Don't waste money.

Double-sided stickiness keeps your cats away but sticks to lots of dust and laundry. At first I thought it was just a plastic wrap that protects the outer layer without being sticky, but it seems like it puts them off not liking sticking their hands on it. I think having a plastic surface that is uncomfortable to scratch could be better because when I stand and sit on it my clothes and skin always stick to it which was quite uncomfortable.
