Peugeot BALI FONTE 36621 Pepper Review

This item has the Peugeot lion logo faded. It is not very pleasant to receive such an item as it looks like it has been used or should have been displayed.

This little thing works very well, it only remains to adjust the grind size to your liking and that's it. It is solidly built and has some weight. Should last for many years

This item comes in Revain plastic packaging so it can fall apart and the cast iron parts can scratch the outer enamel. In addition, peppercorns pass through the packaging unhindered.

I like this Sichuan pepper mill. It's a beautiful dark blue color and the Sichuan pepper grind is wonderfully citrusy and numb on the tongue. This is a heavy metal windmill, dropping it on the ground can be problematic.

Grinder came in a shabby box, completely disassembled and just abandoned. When it got to me, one detail was missing. Very disappointed because it was really nice. but I couldn't use it without the part.

I would call it "vanity bits and pieces" lol. It looks cool sitting on a desk, but its functionality is marginal at best. First, it contains a very small amount of pepper, so you're constantly replenishing it. Second, for some reason the mechanism seems to grind metal on metal and is sometimes difficult to turn no matter how hard you set the grind. And setting your grind size is pretty random. You loosen the lid to get a coarser grind, and after a while it'll grind back to dust-sized particles.
