I bought these cables because the green cable on the Fluance head housing was damaged. The wire attached easily to the body of the Fluance head, but attaching the wire to the Ortofon 2M cassette was another matter. The diameter of the end of the wire is too small for the orthophone. My Story: I bought a brand new genuine Technics sleeve (not cheap) and then quickly broke one of the wire clips trying to install my Shure cartridge. This was hardly my first setup, but the original clips were triangular and just didn't match the big round pins on the pickup. These Pfanstiehl wires have a round internal shape and fit perfectly on the pickup pegs, but are too loose on the shell pegs. I wish I could give this product a good review, but I can't. When I threw a small plastic bag with wires on the counter, it seemed to me that something was wrong. The end connector for a jumper was dangling in the pocket. Not hanging by the cable, never attached to the blue jumper. It's difficult to connect jumpers to get my turntable working optimally, especially when the jack isn't connected to a cable.
