    Fits perfectly and replaces the plastic part.

    Purchased to replace the plastic rod that originally came with my Price Pfister shower which broke after about 2.5 years. The metal replacement fits perfectly and now I don't have to worry about it breaking again.

    Expensive, but worth replacing

    Article as described. Better than the plastic handle that came with the original faucet. Too bad a person has to buy this as Pfister should be offering this as a free replacement. Brass is way better than plastic. This part should last a long time without worrying about breaking. BTW, it comes with a new screw.

    Perfect for rough plumbing

    Fits perfectly on my Pfister shower faucet handle! However, at first I didn't think it would fit. When the original plastic stem broke (rather shattered), a plastic "plug" was left on the fitting. I was looking to replace the entire fitting as I couldn't fit this 970-077 stem but a slight push and this 'cap' came loose and this product snapped on like a glove.

    It works with the product described.

    Surprisingly works as it should. I bought one to make sure it would fit and I'm buying a second one because it fits. It worked with the tub/shower mixer valve/knob described. Seems to be good quality brass, I would pay attention to how hard you turn the knob once installed. I could only guess that the internal parts of the valve are just as unnecessary as the plastic part it replaces.

    Looks different from the original, works better!

    When I was renovating my bathroom a few years ago, we installed Pfister brushed nickel venturi-style bath and shower faucets. They worked great until one day I was about to turn on the shower and the handle kept twisting and twisting. I waited for my friend to get home to take the handle apart and we found that there is a piece of plastic inside that allows him to hook onto the mechanism that turns the water on and off. This piece of plastic was torn off and broken, causing the handle to stop…
