New Delco alternator, not overhauled.

Love the fact that this is a new alternator and not just remanufactured or remanufactured. And this is AC Delco. I had previously ordered one and when I got to the product description it said it was refurbished. So I stopped and ordered this one. Installed and works great.

Poor quality alternator

The current is unstable, it fluctuates, causing all the car lights to flash, the dashboard keeps on lighting! the car is in motion. Don't buy if you need everything to work properly in your car!

Unstable voltage and heavy load on the engine at idle and low speeds, engine shaking, flashing lights.

It looks well built and goes very well with the 1999 E320. I installed it with no problems, everything was fine for a week and then I noticed the engine shaking in the Idling on the brake lights as well as the flickering of the dashboard's internal gauges. Blinking lights and engine shake disappear at higher RPMs. I found it hard to believe that the new alternator could be the problem, I replaced the spark plugs and wires - no change. Then I noticed that the belt tensioner made large movements…
