They are great and of excellent quality. We went to a different location on the set and they ruined the project by tearing it to pieces. It is great.

I used to use the ones that are installed with a slotted screwdriver, it sucks broken or wound. those that mount with a hex head are great. it was easy to install them

This kit is not metric regardless of description. I used a thread standard to identify some of the inserts and labeled them in the image below. On others I can't find a thread, English or Metric, that they are compatible with. Strangely the threads are cut with some precision so I don't understand what this kit is being assembled for.

Inserts worked great on my project. My only complaint is that the box had tears and the box is molded in one piece and folded on a hinge. It has already split. It's a shame because it's a good size and has movable baffles. I usually throw them away and grab a Bass Pro Plano tackle box of about the same size. Inserts are very good even with this little problem.

Purchased for birch plywood amp stand and subwoofer box. I had ripped 3 out of 13 of these inserts during installation, so I couldn't fully flush install them. Once broken, they are difficult to remove or fully seat. I also noticed that the thread tolerance on my metric machine screws was very loose. I ended up removing 11 of the 13 installed due to poor tolerance. I couldn't remove the 2 inserts because they tore when glued in place. I ended up with a different type of metric threaded wood…
