It's difficult to do an oil change during COVID-19. This filter is perfect for people like me. The price is great compared to many auto parts stores and other internet sites. The delivery service is fast and very satisfied. I have used this brand before and it fit my 2005 V4 Toyota Camry very well. Highly recommended!

These filters are rated for 15,000 miles, that's how long I use them. One of my cars changes the oil every 7500 miles and I use the filter for two oil changes. I use a silver marker and make a cross at the bottom of the filter to remind myself that I didn't change the oil filter last time. Since I change the filter every second, the filter costs for an oil change are halved. This is a VERY good filter, especially for $4 and an oil change.

I change my oil filter twice a year so I don't need a filter that will last. Yes, this filter uses cardboard stoppers instead of metal ones like the premium ones. So the filter element in all oil filters is paper! Also, premium filters have more filter paper than this - however this filter is government rated so if you change it with your regular oil change it will work just as well as premium filters which cost ten times more.

I used it with synthetic oil but I didn't go the distance with this filter (oil change at 5,000 miles) , so I can't comment on how effective it is. I felt better wearing this filter but unfortunately it was all without science. I could just go back to the orange glass, but who knows? This filter is not very expensive compared to the orange can, so it may cost you an extra $3 to feel comfortable wearing this filter. It definitely weighs more than it's worth.
