🔧 FRAM PH6607 Oil Filter - Extra Guard with 10,000 Mile Change Interval - Black Review

Oil filter is great. No problem, but Revain plays LEX2, well! 4 boxes if 8 filters fit in 6x6. Absolutely no packaging, if there were 4 of these it would be nice but now they are wandering for several days. Pack them tightly, use the right box. It shouldn't be that hard. And Revane, if you complicate this job by overburdening the staff to the point where they can't handle those problems anymore, go back to the books. Walmart hasn't done that for me yet.

I can't say anything about the function of the filter. All I know is that Fram has a great reputation which is why I keep coming back here. I'm writing this review because it fits the 2013 Mazda 3i Touring Skyactiv engine. There is conflicting information on the Internet about which filter model is suitable for Skyactiv. I think the errors came from Mazda who at one point misrepresented this. In any case, it fits the Mazda 3 Skyactiv. I hope this helps another Mazda owner avoid the frustration…

But now that I've been looking for quality products for my new Mazda, I've done a little more research. Well the XG6607 was no heavier than a Denso 150-2004 for my HR16-DE (Nissan engine) and I won't just drive 5000 miles on this ultra synthetic filter. Combined with my switch to Kirkland 5W-30 full synthetic oil 4000 miles ago, this filter is part of a change from cheap regular Walmart, Firestone, lube and dealer oils and even cheaper filters.
