Watch out for extra hum.

Worst pair of turntable cables I have ever used. This didn't remove the hum, it added it. I'm using Technics mk7s if that means anything. 20 bucks down the drain. 😔

Works as intended in turntable cartridges

It's basically a wire with a plug on each end - not too many mistakes. I bought this to extend my turntable's ground wire and it works great for that. I used a small screw to connect it to the existing ground wire and connect the other end to my amp's chassis. All is well.

Didn't help me at all

In fact, when I connected it to my Teac TN-400S player, the hum was stronger than without grounding. I don't know why but that's my experience. The build quality seems very good, the caliber is around 16G and I would recommend this cable even if you can make it yourself for practically free. Comfort is what you pay for here.

  • is too stupid even for the old

Surprised by their performance

I recently bought a new record player as have many others who are returning to vinyl. Initially I just used some speaker wire to ground the turntable. This was fine at lower audio levels, but there was a noticeable hiss when I turned up the volume. Since I have a VPI turntable I'm looking at their ground wire with RCA plugs and it's $250. Not wanting to spend that much, I ordered 2 pairs of Revain Kable Direct RCA cables ($14 each) and a ground wire for $11. I hook up the turntable to my amp…

Get one. You will not regret it.

Very fast delivery and easy assembly. Sounds great with a Harman Kardon 330C receiver and RCA speakers. Not suitable for scratching (direct drive motor only). This turntable is belt driven. Save the paperwork to attach the replacement band later if you need to replace it. Place it on a flat surface for the best sound quality. Good thing it has a dust cover and a good hi-fi preamp. Use a dust cover, buy a surge protector, and clean the needle after each spin. This ensures the turntable sounds…

Great grounding wires that work!

These are excellent grounding wires. I didn't see any reviews on them but they looked very high quality in the pictures. I am happy to say that they were of high quality when I received them. The U-clamps fitted to each end of the cable fit very snugly and make good contact with the wire. I bought two of these to connect my two Gemini PT 2000 mk2 players to my Pioneer DDJ-SX2 DJ controller for use in DVS mode. It works great and I no longer hear static when using turntables. Noise can still be…
