Knitting & Crochet children's socks

Smaller than expected but very soft and pretty. Each color makes 2 pairs of newborn socks or 1 pair of baby socks.

Pros
  • Sequins
Cons
  • Only available in black

Shorted by yards, good for knitting and crocheting

Bought this to make socks. After rolling them into balls, I weighed them to have a starting weight to keep track of the amount of each color I would use for each sock. Three colors weigh 19 grams each and two weigh 20 grams. This corresponds to the yards cut by my order. Yards are the difference between having and not having for my project. Why is this? How will you fix it?

Nice pair of socks

I don't know why the thickness can be a rating. This is finger yarn for socks and should not be thick. The thickness was perfect for what it is. It was a colorful little package but quite expensive for a pair of socks. After knitting a couple of yarns, there was almost nothing left, but I will say that there were no knots or breaks, as usually happens when buying a good ball of yarn. I wouldn't buy it again but I recommend it.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Only available in black

I love these colors so I bought them. I'm new to knitting and crocheting but buying finger yarn wasn't the best solution for me, more of a problem than anything. I also found out it was a rip off because you can get 10oz yarn for $7, Red Heart or Camron, I think those are the brands I ran into compared to $25 for 3.5oz , the material is excellent , but the yarn will take its toll if you're not careful

Pros
  • Great Design
Cons
  • Crumpled Packaging

Don't buy this again.

This yarn was expensive so I used it for a lacy summer plaid. It turned out well, the quality of the yarn was standard in the three packs I bought. My problems: 1. Some colors wash out when washed. The yellow in particular has lost color and the whole thing has faded a lot. The yarn runs exactly as in the photo, in very loose strands. I had to use a hanger to drape the yarn so I could roll it into a ball. All in all it wasn't worth it for me in the end and I won't buy this yarn again.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Out of fashion
