🔧 Pico 5162PT 3/16 inch Inner Diameter Vacuum Line Tubing - Pack of 5 Feet Review

The hose is small in diameter and does not hold vacuum as well as the original. Will take it off as I now have a high idle after replacing this one!

Product Description: Pico 5162PT 3/16" ID 5' Vacuum Line Hose Packaging says hose is 3/16" ID but it is not. The product I received is less than 3/16 inch.

I really needed this for my damaged windshield washer line. As I mentioned, a vacuum hose of this size is hard to come by and I had to use a fuel line to start. Since windshield washers have been around for decades I don't see why the sizes need to be changed but they do and this hose saved the day.

I used this to replace the water lines that go into Honeywell humidifiers that are fitted to my stove. The quality is much better than the original tube which was twisted and leaking. If you have to run this through some pre-drilled holes, note that the tube is relatively thick and has a large OD given the inside diameter. No problem if you use it for standard vacuum line applications.
