costs $5 or $6, not 7

it is inexpensive and cheap. I threw it in a little tool bag I made for the trailer and wouldn't cry if it was stolen. for this purpose it works. I've used a few times and it worked. Comes with a 3/8 to 1/4 adapter, most sockets in the set are 1/4 drive. I paid $6 and definitely wouldn't pay a penny more.

Great for the money, not too durable.

From what I can tell this is a great set for around the house and simple car repairs .For the price, can't complain.Edit: Ordered a second set of the same quality but with 3 bike repair bolts removed :/, will do for most needs but if your bolt or nut is VERY stubborn be careful not to tear or just use another set.

You get what you pay for!

Only suitable for light use. If you try to use these parts for something heavier they will literally break in your hands. The small red handled screwdriver broke on first use, one of the adapters twisted and broke when I tried to unscrew the old screw. I can see this can be a good kit (when on sale and heavily discounted) for basic home use, but if you're into something other than assembling IKEA furniture you'll save yourself some money and a headache, by getting a good brand name.

Very cheap but not worth the money

If you absolutely need a cheap socket set this is your last resort. However, I strongly recommend buying something else with a higher level of quality. I used this set on my bike and if the bushings don't strip your bolts they will wear out. The metal is of very poor quality and the tolerances are not good enough for continuous use. The drive adapter is also completely broken in half. Although my bike only requires a few size sockets, I had to buy new ones because the ones I used from this set…

Great for home use.

Great for home use. IE: Furniture assembly, door hinge tightening, small projects, etc. Not for automotive though. The ratchet gears will break and the screwdriver handle is made of plastic that will break if too much torque is used. and all broke. It's also intended for home use, great, but no more. The plastic box also holds tools well. It's small and easily fits in a kitchen drawer. Now its ready for my wife and she will stop using mine and then put it back in the wrong toolbox lol!
