Great tool! best spare parts

These tools make threading wire into looms a lot easier. I'm doing a major renovation project on my old Jeep and wanted everything to be safe. The machine I bought from Painless is of really great quality and as such it is very difficult to insert wire into it! These tools make it easy for me and even make it easier for me to decide what size loom to use for a particular harness. If the wire harness doesn't fit easily in the tool, it won't fit in an appropriately sized wire harness either.

Essential Tool, Inexpensive

Anyone who has attempted to use a wire saw without a working tool knows how difficult and painful the process can be. Since these tools only cost a few dollars, it's foolish not to use them; You just cut your fingertips. This tool has been used over the past few months to feed several hundred feet of wire into a loom and shows no signs of wear. It's no frills and a new user should probably search Youtube for how to use it as there are no instructions, but it works well and is easy.

made the job a lot easier. Didn't know this tool existed and cut the loom by hand. Not for those who haven't used this tool: you can route the wire harness down the middle of the cable, meaning there is no need to "thread" the end of the cable through this tool. What is not easy to see in the drawings is that the tool has a slot to insert the center of the cable into. no more sore fingertips. <grin>I converted 50ft + 3/4" TC in less than 4 minutes. Most of the time I struggled withโ€ฆ

They still have some work to do on the loom.

TLDR: Yes they are cheap in quality and price but 3 people in the store showed what they can do, all 3 want this 5 piece set. Long: I spent 30 minutes painting 15 foot 8/2 with a flat 6 trunk wire, cursing and whining. Jobs asked a few people how easy it was to weave wire. One person said just plug it in and move on - I did it and it really hurt my fingers and patience. Another person with over 30 years of electrical experience muttered that there must be a tool - that night I found this set of
