High-quality Snaps for Marine Use

Based on our own experience, these snaps are excellent for industrial and scientific purposes. We used them on our marine equipment, and they held up well against the harsh sea. The stainless spring material ensures durability and long-lasting use. The only downside we found was that they are a bit pricey compared to other snaps in the market. Nevertheless, the quality makes up for the cost. Overall, we highly recommend these snaps for any marine-related projects.

Pros
  • Strong and durable
Cons
  • May require specialized tools for installation and removal

HUGE for a small boat

HUGE for a small boat but I bought them to choose from and might find a use for them. They're 316 SS, not 304 SS, so that's a PLUS.

Pros
  • Latches
Cons
  • Not sure

Fake Wichard

Failed to load media. Great value for these high-end Wicard rifle knockoffs that cost $50 or more each. Of course there are big and small differences. The photos show that the original Wichard is bigger and thicker, especially the wire clasps (a consequence of this is that the Wichard clasps are much stiffer: I usually use two thumbs to open them). From the video it can be seen that while the number 316 is stamped in two places on US Steel carabiners, it is clearly NOT 316 as the magnet is…

Pros
  • Quick Release Buckles
Cons
  • Crumpled Packaging
