I installed this myself in less than 10 minutes. It fits perfectly and is exactly what I need. I don't know how long it will be - I hope at least 10 years.

When it got cold, the hood of my car wouldn't stay open. I was looking for a replacement and these shelves popped up. It took me about 15 minutes to get to work. So far they are working very well.

The product was easy to install (once you figured out how). The stands work very well. I really like them as they hold the top securely in the open position.

Easy installation. Using a flathead screwdriver, I pulled the metal clips out of the old hood struts. The old ones come out. The entrances to the new hood pillars fitted together and with enough effort they just snapped into place. Quite easy. Gentle opening and closing of the hood. Honda Accord Cross Tour 2010

Just installed on my newly purchased 2012 Honda Crosstour a week ago and so far they are working great. They appear to be well made. If they last 10 years I will upgrade my rating to 5 stars. to wait for him. PS I just sold a 2000 Honda Accord with original hood stays that worked fine. I'm just saying.
