Hi-viz yellow, flexible socks stop leaks, drips and condensation from freezers, coolers, windowsills and sliding glass doors. Also great for basement and garage leaks or anywhere water seeps in. Polypropylene skin resists tearing; reduces dust and holds in liquid, even when it's fully saturated. Safety yellow for high visibility bringing attention to high traffic areas. Absorbs water and can be left down long-term without growing mildew. Great for basements to stop water from spreading – or, place them in front of freezers, coolers and more to catch leaks and condensation where they show up! Water absorbing socks are designed to quickly absorb and retain water. Socks should not be left in direct sunlight for long periods of time. Prolonged UV exposure will cause degradation. Not suitable for either the washing machine or dryer as the sock may become damaged in the process and filler loose in the machines.

An absolute lifesaver during a tropical storm!

Tropical Storm Eta recently hit South Florida. When Eta landed at the Keys, it was more like a hurricane. The pouring rain was so heavy that the water completely filled the guides in our impact resistant sliding glass doors and couldn't run back. Doesn't seem very good at stopping water from flowing. Although it will absorb.

Like most garages, mine slopes toward the top door (to the driveway) and an inside corner. I brought a New Pig PIG105-BL absorbent sock that is mildew resistant to prevent water from pooling in that corner. others walk along the wall. That way I was hoping to prevent water from entering that corner. Love, love, love. This item did exactly what I hoped it would. Without being pretentious, after 12 years we have finally renovated our vintage vertical cocaine machine. After spending a lot of money and seeing how cool this thing looks, I didn't want to just send it to the garage. So we brought it inside, to our office.
