Great product if you need to dry your car twice

Great product if you need to dry your car twice. This thing lets you go once and knock down all the loose water (on perfectly flat surfaces). then dry everything again with leather. I drive a 2016 Civic, and drying my car with this thing was a shame and a long time. Not to mention that with every use you run the risk of carrying around dirt and scratching your car with it. Used once. I'm still trying to piece together the pipe dream that led me to spend $17 on a piece of plastic.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Not the best

Suitable for normal surfaces

Works great on flat surfaces, but anything with a curve or curvature presents some difficulties. This was to be expected. I don't like it and I don't go back to the garage for it if I forget to take it to the car wash with other things. I'll use it when it's around, but I don't know if I'd buy it again. Instead, I could just invest in another super absorbent dryer sheet. It works better on our minivan, to be honest, where there are a lot of slick drying areas. My truck is too contoured and…

Careless washing can scratch the paintwork.

All previous reviews helped me a lot. All of them are true both for and against. I like this product because it's cheap, works great, and saves time. I don't expect this product to be perfect. I just accept what he can and can't do. Thanks to all the reviews so far, I'll be careful with paint scratches from now on. I plan to use lots of water and wipe right away and this blade I rinse out after 3 uses. (I'm a lazy and sloppy car washer. I hope I don't scratch my new car with this brush.)…

  • There are problems

This product was recommended by a bath and bathroom remodeler who noticed I had water stains on my shower door (despite using a silicone scraper). I ended up buying two. When cleaning dry spots on corian or glass, use causes an annoying squeaking noise that hurts and makes my neighbor's dog howl. I returned one and am still hoping to fix the audio issues. So I can't use this device until I figure out how to reduce the sound. No doubt it gets rid of water effectively. 6/30/2020 - Noise is…

Cuts water like butter

I used to use (but lost) a California water blade and this replacement is a good replacement. There are some differences, such as B. the shorter length, smaller handle and I think lighter weight, but basically it works the same way. For those who have never had a water blade this is a very good product to use between car water washes to ensure no water marks remain. I wouldn't call it a mop to clean your car but it removes the dirt that's in the water that's on your car. On a totally wet car…

Absorber Combo - They're in the box

I bought the Pilot Water Sheet after trying unsuccessfully to get my hands on the California Water Sheet (the seller in the Marketplace gave me one All purpose tool given California dry "blade.") The "Dry" blade squeaked with every hit and almost hit me for fear of scratching my new car, so I found a Pilot water blade to replace and it did for me works since the quality seems very high and the handle is made of a flexible material that can follow curves. I don't have a squeaking problem like…
