It has a very good display and I was able to use it for my ipod, phone and rear camera. Very fast display of the rear camera when turning on reverse gear, without long delays, as noted in the reviews of many other receivers. After using this thing for a few months I'm really impressed. Works well, but the buttons on the left are so close together that I keep hitting the dim display button when I want to press the button on the right below. The iPod/Iphone plug has to be routed somewhere below the stereo, which is annoying. I have another version of this where I can plug the USB cable straight into the front of the stereo, which I like best. Installed on my wife's 2006 4Runner. Installation was quick and easy! The manual didn't give much information on installation, but I think you usually get installation instructions with your specific wiring harness (as it depends on your make/model of vehicle).
