Worst picture I've seen on a rear camera

This camera is listed for a Pioneer head unit I bought DMH-C5500NEX. It has the worst picture quality I've ever seen. This is 80's quality.

Pros
  • Trial for one year
Cons
  • No.

This camera is terrible! Visibility at the same time appears on my pioneer.

This camera is terrible! The visibility when it appears on my Pioneer radio is blurry! It has been professionally installed and it is very difficult to see what you are looking at even when the car is stationary. Don't waste money on it! I will remove it and buy a better one.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Not sure

Doesn't match the price tag. Save money and buy a cheaper camera.

This price for this product would be reasonable if it were 2001. With a surplus of $25 rear cameras that perform better than this, it's hard to justify buying this device again. I bought this camera thinking I was getting a better product than the $25 backup camera I have in my van and was disappointed to find that not only was the picture worse, but so was the camera Night vision was practically useless. Wouldn't buy again.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Nothing here

One of the best (if not the best) rear camera on the market.

Works well and is very bright even without additional infrared lighting. Waterproof/waterproof design. very small and attractive. The ONLY problem is that there are no parking guidelines. Your main unit must provide this. If you have Pioneer head units, these provide guidelines you can set up. However, the main unit I installed it on doesn't have it. Apart from that I think this is one of the best cameras out there.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Quick start guide

Very good quality product

Added to my 2009 RAV4 along with a new multimedia head unit about a year ago. I don't appreciate the ease of installation because, cmon. it really depends on you and your skill level. THERE ARE SO MANY OPTIONS FOR REPLACEMENT CAMERA. and many cheap ones. My experience with it is great. I found this out from the documentation in the box with my Pioneer radio. All reviews seemed solid, but this one was definitely more expensive than most. It's worth it. The night vision rivals any OEM backup…

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Unusable functions

Works great, very expensive setup.

I bought it to be able to see what's behind my motorhome. Unfortunately, I've found that this isn't possible via Bluetooth, so all I have to do is attach it to my truck. However, it's still life-changing. I live in the city and have a big old truck that isn't designed to parallel park and drive into tight back streets; and it really makes life a lot easier. My only complaint is that professional installation costs so much ($200 in my case) that it costs about four times the price of the unit…

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Volume

Some modifications required

The only disappointment I have is the camera mount which has four screws none of which fit into the intended mounting locations. Because of this I had to drill where the screws go which is very frustrating. Please provide the right size screws or design the camera mount better. The camera mount had two slots with holes that were too small so they had to be drilled out and they were in the front. There were two slits on the back that didn't have holes and also needed to be drilled out. There was

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • No automatic
