Description of Pirelli Powergy 225/50 R17 98Y summer

Pirelli PowergyThe Pirelli Powergy summer tire is suitable for most passenger cars, and for its performance properties, their owners. It is distinguished by reliable grip on dry and wet roads, sporty handling, resistance to aquaplaning and effective braking. The running part of the tread is made of a rubber compound based on silicon dioxide. The use of this compound in fine dispersion and advanced production methods ensure that the compound is homogeneous, further enhancing the tire''s grip on wet roads. In addition, it contains special polymers. With their help, the rubber compound at the molecular level has high tensile strength and tensile strength. This significantly increases tire replacement mileage due to its resistance to abrasion, punctures and cuts. The tire is distinguished by a low tendency to aquaplaning, which is ensured by several features in its tread design at once. One of them is the longitudinal drainage grooves increased in width. They almost instantly remove even a very large volume of water from the contact patch. They are connected with transverse grooves directed at an aggressive angle against the movement. This solution further enhances the resistance to hydroplanning, using the rotation of the wheel for this. The longitudinal ribs located in the central part are massive and rigid elements, very resistant to deformation. They improve steering precision and directional stability, reduce rolling resistance and prevent uneven wear. The main features of the Pirelli Powergy - silica-based rubber compound with special polymers increase grip on wet roads, increase tire mileage, especially on bad roads; The fin-shaped sipes reduce noise and give the tire a smoother ride. * Attention: summer tires of non-Russian origin can be marked with the designation M + S

The product sucks and the quality is terrible.

On April 30th, I went to the store and bought these summer tires in the size 235x55x17 for a Ford Kuga 2 R. Prior to that, I was using tires of the Michelin Latitude Tour HP brand. When compared to these tires, the Pirelli Powergy tires have a far more forgiving and lightweight construction. But that was a really feeble sidewall! With its positives being: Very soft rubber. Maintains its grip well in the rain, both when traveling in a straight line and when turning. Not prone to hydroplaning in…

It functions perfectly, nothing unusual.

I didn’t leave for a month as I cut off 2 pieces of the sidewall on the curb. moreover, I recently noticed this, that is, there was no strong collision with the curb. would not have bought if I knew that such a weak and delicate rubber

Pros
  • very quiet, soft
Cons
  • weak sidewall, touched the curb when parking and cut off a piece of the tire.

Reliable purchase, guaranteed to be a good purchase.

I would like to offer my sincere gratitude to the managers of the organization because they called me right after I submitted my application and kept me up to date with all of the relevant information throughout the process. As a direct consequence of this, I was able to acquire tires in the shortest amount of time and at the most competitive price on the market. Well done, true pros!

Pros
  • Price, service, quality
Cons
  • No

Not a bad product, but you can do better.

Worse than Hankook. Driving in a traffic jam is hard. Viscosity at start-up decreased slightly. But here it is impossible to brake sharply at low speed. Behavior like a winter Nokia. A couple of days ago I was taxiing in a traffic jam into a free neighboring row. I looked in the side mirror, and the Tiguan, which stood up abruptly in front, almost pecked with its left wing. Tin in general. I summarize. Rubber for ers. For big hauls. Cheap. On the track behaves predictably. At speeds, it slows…

Pros
  • Pirelli brand
Cons
  • When I first put it on, I didn’t believe that it was Summer tires, not winter tires. The first 800 km, the tires behave like winter tires, the car starts with a delay, and also slows down. Geometry is average. When balancing, all 4 wheels on the stand "walked".

The purchase brought only positive emotions.

I bought tires with a budget limit, in the end I did not lose. I took the Formula for the price, the pattern and a strong sidewall - this is what I could personally verify before buying. It turned out that budget tires can: perfectly balanced (two wheels were generally put on new wheels with a shipment of 5 and 10 g!) be sharp in driving, keep on the wet road great pick up speed go at 130 km / h without much noise and taxiing In general, I have been riding them for the second month and I…

Pros
  • Perfectly balanced, strong sidewall, hold the track well at speed, no rolling in corners, good tenacity on wet roads, price, manufacturer's warranty
Cons
  • They don't exist at all
