Decent for a very cheap rack. legs were.

Decent for a very cheap stand. The legs weren't quite straight, so I had to strategically tighten them to get the stand straight out. It's also not heavy enough to absorb the vibrations of a bench grinder, so it either has to be bolted on or weighted down or it'll dance all over the floor. I don't need anything more sophisticated to get by, but this is definitely a 'you get what you pay for' type product.

Reliable and stable product for power tools and hand tools

I noticed that 1 or 2 reviews mention hesitation or that it "walks" during use. Only after I had tightened the screws so that all 4 legs were level and firmly on the ground, there were no problems. I have a grinder permanently installed. Once I was working on a large piece of metal, I simply placed a few tools on the bottom shelf to give it some weight. I mean, at this price point, it weighs less than 75 pounds unpackaged; but it is strong enough that so much weight can be added if needed. Very

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Little things

Decent parts, decent build, instructions are bad and plans conflict. Okay, it's a simple element, but you need a little thinking to get it right the first time - seems like a waste of time. It doesn't have leveling feet so the workshop floor must be level or it will wobble. Fairly strong, well formed pieces, check ideal working height before buying, grinder is too low for the fine work that grinders often do. The exact same item is available from Harbor Freight for almost half the price of…

Neat stand. Best in Power Tools and Hand Tools

Purchased to use as a portable charging station. I had to put plywood between the press and the stand to stiffen it. While I wouldn't call it a bad build, it's not the easiest. The corners at the top are tight for working. It doesn't wobble and is quite stable when assembled. I had put a few cases in the press and rolled up the top a bit. Can easily be knocked out with a hammer. I used a half inch piece of plywood on top and it works fine now. It's a good size for reloading. Two full-size…

A solid bang for your buck.

The stand was very well designed. The instructions were confusing and counterproductive. I made an intuitive mistake assembling the legs, but once I figured out how they fit together it was easy to see that this stand was well designed. It is very durable. I made a plywood tool platform for the top so I have room to work. TIP: Do not screw the 8" grinder on too tightly or the grinder's rubber feet will not absorb grinding vibrations as they should. I would recommend this product. However, it…

  • The best in its niche
Cons
  • A bit torn

Too small for my 8" grinder Revain was very willing at Helping to provide discounts so I could buy mod materials for my grinder If you have an 8" Ryobi Grinder the screw holes are right where the corners of the top are so it doesn't bolt directly to the frame The kit is missing 2 screws, washers and lock washers and 3 of the 4 parts needed to complete the screws at the end of the cover for assembly but again Revain replaced these missing parts for me I have to have them use the screws on the…

Highly recommended.

I got this for a Porter Cable drill. First, it was easy to assemble and fairly durable. The top is a bit small for things like drill presses, so I bought some screws, washers, nuts and a 5/8" shelf from Ace Hardware, traced the press base onto it and sawed it out with a jigsaw. Use two screws to press the wood against the posts, existing two holes and then drilled 4 holes to press the press against the wood/post. So for about $16 I got it working fine. You can do it with things that are in the…

I bought it based on the good reviews but it was a waste of time and...

Not worth the money and time to assemble. I bought this based on the good reviews for fear of other stands and vibration issues, but for me it was a waste of time and money with my 8" Dewalt bench grinder, which I removed from the bench to make more usable space. The vibration is so strong that the entire assembly often wanders around the store, even after the coffee grinder is off. Nothing beats a rotating grinding wheel that sneaks up almost silently from behind after you switch it off. My…
