I would give this 4.5 stars if possible because the excellent wooden box containing the drill bits had an internal failure of the bracket that supports the individual drill bits in the box. I was able to fix this clean tear with glue and everything works great. The rest of the bits look solid and have very sharp ends. This is a great price compared to similar bits on the market. I would buy again and recommend.

I was drilling scrap out of a blind hole and the auger on one of the auger bits broke in the third hole I drilled. And it's on a pine tree! I mean, for money and people on a budget this might work, but I wouldn't recommend it to a frequent user. Drilling a few holes in the frame to get through the electrics etc might still work, but I've had better performance with auger bits I bought from a vintage shop in combination with a clamp .

I wasn't expecting much for fifteen dollars and got even less. The threaded spindle of these bits does not reach the cutting edges and spurs. This means that all but the smallest in corsets cannot really function. You will need a heavy duty electric drill or drill to properly engage the grooves.
