Description of PLA plastic for 3D printing Bestfilament black, 1.75mm, 1kg

Bestfilament PLA plastic (polylactide) is made from various organic products: potatoes, maize, fodder beet, sugarcane, etc. It is considered the most environmentally friendly material. When printing, it will not emit unpleasant odors. Natural PLA is transparent and colorable. Polylactide is a very strong and tough material. However, this material is the most undemanding for 3D printing. He doesn''t need a heated bed or a closed print chamber. Therefore, it is best to print large objects from it. PLA products are smoother than ABS, but PLA is not very easy to sand. The softening temperature of PLA is 50 °C, and products printed from this plastic are unsuitable for situations where high operating temperatures are possible. The PLA bath is usually made from dichloromethane or ethyl acetate. It is recommended to use epoxy resin for bonding parts. Recommended print settings for PLA Bestfilament: Extruder: 205-235 degrees. Platform: 60 degrees.

How could such a bad product be made?

I got a pair of black and red coils. After the first copy was printed, I immediately began to regret my decision. At first, I suspected the printer. Combine the reel's ashes with those of another fallen star. When printing with this plastic, a large number of "strings" develop, and if the model's height is more than 2 cm, the base of the model (the supports or the base itself) is bent. It's not the first day or even the first month that I've been printing. I experimented with setting the…

Pros
  • No
Cons
  • The plastic is revolting, there are a lot of strings, the model bases are distorted, and printing true to scale is impossible.

Terrible quality, a waste of money.

So in order. Previously, I bought only Bestfilament and had absolutely no problems. The quality was excellent. Somewhere in the spring began "tricks". What it was made of is not entirely clear. I ordered as usual and without a second thought I put a seal, went about my business, because. plastic caused absolute confidence. I come prints air. Well, I think okay. Checked - clogged extruder. Dismantled, burnt collected, printed again and clogged again. It became interesting, it turned out that the

Pros
  • All the advantages are in the past, and also a beautiful box :-)
Cons
  • There have been a lot of them. They couldn't print.
