Protegé Tandem & Recumbent Bike Computer 🚲 Bracket with 160cm Wire & Hardware by Planet Bike Review

I have a recumbent, most speed cables are not long enough. This cable was long enough and powerful enough for a planetary bike, I would buy bike computers again

Good setup for a tandem bike as that's what I use it for and my mum is a co-pilot I want her to see the data I get on mine and I already have experience with Planet protege

I love this computer but for this specific order (160mm cable) they sent me a cable and bracket for a standard bike (88mm cable length). So, despite the fact that the product is good, the seller could not place the order correctly.

I love that you can get a Planet Bike 9 Protege and swap it out for other bikes you have with just a new bracket. You can only ride one bike at a time, so it's nice when a company cares about its customers. By the way, a great computer for your bike.

I used this to mount my computer on the accessory mount above the chainrings on a TerraTrike ATV. It was long enough to run from the sensor mount to the accessory mount. Exactly the same as the sensor and mount that came with your computer, but with a longer cable in between.

I had to buy this extra long cable for my Easy Racers Tour Easy as the distance from my front fork to the top of the handlebars is 40 inches or 102 cm I wrapped the extra cable around the brake cable to the front fork. I used extra zippers where I started and finished to tie the cord for a prettier look. The cable works/installs in the same way as a standard length cable.

I needed a longer cable to get to the rear wheel of my hybrid so I could use it with an indoor trainer. It took a little while to install to get the magnet in the right position but I managed it. It's great for indoor training and I can compare the accuracy of my GPS devices to the Protege 9. I had to push one of the pins into position as it was a bit bent, but I was able to push it to where it should have been and everything works great now. This was a great choice in terms of bike computers. Although I'm not a Tour de France competitor, I love to get out there and challenge myself on both the road and the track. It has all, if not more, of the features I would like. The installation guide makes it pretty easy, but it will take a little time if you are doing it for the first time.
