Excellent call quality even in noisy environments

Plantronics 8200 Microphone Excellent background noise rejection. Side B can't tell that my loud TV is on in the background, my five-year-old is singing loudly, wind noise and car horns outside are barely audible to my co-workers during my Zoom calls with them. Terrific! Also, I recorded the audio output from the microphone in Zoom, HD, Stereo or whatever you want to call it. It just sounds fuller than my other headphones. Sony xm3 (muted). Bose 700 (best suited but doesn't have a dedicated…

Great for calls, good enough for music and active noise cancellation.

I need noise canceling headphones that are also suitable for phone calls. I also needed it to work with Skype on my work laptop. I tried a pair of Sony headphones and the noise cancellation and music playback were fantastic, but people on the phone said I sounded terrible. I liked the new Jabra headphones, but they're more expensive, the ANC didn't work when I was on a call, and I couldn't easily connect them to my work laptop. Plantronics has a separate Bluetooth USB adapter that works great…

Great for working from home and conferencing

Now, like most people, I needed to make a quick switch to working from home. I was on a video conference call with a support rep. By the way, we talked about working from home. The engineer told me, "I've been working from home for 9 years now. I wouldn't know how to work in an office anymore." "Nine years! What kind of headphones are you using. Now I need something that actually works. "I've had them for three days now and I LOVE it. I am connected to my computer and my mobile phone at the…

Lots of interference when talking on iPhone.

I have both a Plantronics 8200 UC and a Voyager Focus and when not speaking there is static on my iPhone. The 8200 UC also sounds like you're talking in a tunnel. I don't know why they don't include an overhead mic. Anyway I'm sending it back. They're great for music, but I have a home office and need a quality wireless headset.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons

Best headphone overall, very satisfied customer (after 2 years of use)

Update after 2 years ------ Even after two years this headphone is still the best on the market today. No further replacement of the ear pads since the replacement. Everything is as comfortable as before. I use these headphones about 8 hours a day due to daily conference calls and media consumption. This means they have clocked up thousands of hours of use over the past two years. I have added photos for reference after 2 years of use but they bear no damage. The sound is still excellent and…

Great for audio but not for daily conference calls.

Purchased based on YouTube reviews. Basically, I had the impression that they are great for online conferences via USB dongle and phone calls via Bluetooth. Unfortunately this was not the case. In both scenarios, people said my voice was muffled and difficult to hear. I've tried other settings and still no good conversations. I will say they look great, feel great and sound great! The noise cancellation wasn't bad either, but I think when it was on it also contributed to the muffled sound…

Good headset, would buy more

Working in an open cube, with lots of electronics etc. My priorities are: 1. Bluetooth quality - good connection, good sound, decent range 2. Sound quality/comfort 3. Noise Isolation/Cancellation1. Bluetooth isn't 5.0, but it's a good, clear connection at 50 feet. This is a great feature. Bluetooth just works and I've had many other headsets that don't2. The sound quality is almost audiophile. This is completely sufficient for office work and the usual mix of music and video. Comfort is a bit…

Pros
  • Looking forward to
Cons
  • Doubtful purchase for seniors

The sweetest bass and clarity you'll get

Everything about these headphones is perfect. They fit so comfortably, and for over-ear noise-cancelling headphones, they're not bulky. They are just the right size. You can tell they've put a lot of effort into the quality of materials and design, but more importantly, the clarity of the sound is phenomenal. I hear audio frequencies in songs that I can't hear on my studio monitors, so these headphones have really good range. Bass is amazing! You can connect to a computer with a USB dongle or…

Good headset but didn't last as expected

I enjoyed using this headset last year. I use it almost every day at work for conference calls. I listened to music from time to time. I especially like using it on my business trips when I'm on a plane or at the airport to make phone calls, listen to music and watch TV. Got lots of compliments on how beautiful they look. Unfortunately, after a year of happy use, the fabric covering the cups came loose at the seam. The material is black on the outside and red on the inside. At the point where…
