Description of Pack of 25 Class 8 Zinc Plated Steel Hex Nuts with JIS B1181 Specification - M10-1.25 Thread Size, 14mm Width Across Flats, 8mm Thickness

Hex nut tightens from the side with a wrench, enabling use when there is limited space above the nut. Class 8 steel is often used in applications where strength is the primary consideration. Zinc plating resists corrosion and has a reflective appearance. Meets JIS B1181 specifications.

Correct thread is 17mm not 14mm

As the name suggests, these nuts are 17mm wide, not 14mm as advertised. Save yourself the headache and find another provider.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Secret

Hex nuts are not the best advertised

These nuts are much larger than the advertised 14mm. I wasted my time trusting these idiots. The pitch is correct, but the flat-to-flat dimension is too large and will not fit in the correct slot. I will NOT buy from this seller again.

Pros
  • High test results for grip and durability
Cons
  • Appearance

Wrong specs, 17mm - NOT 14mm

Headpiece dimensions and specs are wrong. This is an M10x1.25 nut that fits a 17mm socket, not a 14mm socket as advertised. If you're looking for an M10x1.25 nut that fits a 14mm socket like I did, look elsewhere.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Not the best

Incorrect description on website and packaging

Also wish I had read the reviews as the hex head size is 17mm not 14mm as advertised. According to reviews, this has been reported since at least 2018 and is still incorrect. The 1.25mm thread size is correct, but this nut sits in a very tight spot on the car and I'm not sure I can use a 17mm hex head.

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Wrong size displayed.

Read the reviews on this product before you order. The bag says 14mm, the nut on the bag and the nut in the wrench at the top are from the bag (note they're 17mm) and the nut in the wrench at the bottom is what I need (note it's is 14 mm). Now I have to figure out how to get a refund because whoever put them in the bags doesn't know the size.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

Wrong size in package. Steel hex nut is 17mm diameter NOT 14mm

Wrong size. Although the packaging and product listed by Revain is 14mm wide. That's wrong, the hex nut is 17mm in diameter. Proper size is important when the hex nut is used in a limited space, as the wrench may not fit in that space to tighten or loosen the hex nut. . Other customers have also written about this problem. Product packaging and description need to be corrected.

Pros
  • Absolute legend
Cons
  • High price

THIS IS A 17MM NUT!

If like me you need a nut that fits on your string trimmer you will be very disappointed if you buy a whole bag that doesn't fit. 10 mm thread is correct. Hex 17mm. If you need it to fit into a 14mm hex slot, it doesn't even come close. I feel cheated. Though several other reviews also say they've been scammed, Revain doesn't seem to care. I'm not the only one reporting the "wrong product name" and apparently I'm not the last to have been tricked into purchasing this product.

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • Other interesting options are available.
