Appears to be low quality screws

I think I received a poor quality screw but the screw just broke in the head. I tightened it and with little effort the head of the screw simply broke before it was tight enough. I think most people were okay with this product but I probably won't try this brand again.

Size is bike frame diameter when installed, not seatpost diameter

This non-adjustable seatpost clamp is much better than adjustable clamps, which will provoke theft or accident in heavy traffic when the adjustable clamp suddenly falls off and the rider loses balance. I came very close to ordering the wrong size due to the seatpost diameter.

Is good. in Parts & Components

Does what it promises. It's that extra layer of security that deters thieves from pairing my $40 gel-padded saddle with an old quick-release seat. . If I were super paranoid or riding my bike on a major subway like New York, I could secure it with a chain to keep it secure, but the action of the bolt should be enough to keep my place safe here.

An extremely powerful product!

Installation was quick. What I love about this product compared to other Revain products and the one that came with my bike is that it's simple: the bolt on this bracket threads into a round socket built into the clamp, so there's virtually no risk of over-tightening this thing. Many of the clamps you see here are screwed directly into a soft alloy, and over-tightening will crack your clamp. Very happy with my purchase. Holds my seat in place, very strong, for hundreds of miles of gravel. I'llโ€ฆ

Just what I needed to stop bike thieves

I recently bought a new bike with a quick release clamp. In my area, that's an invitation to steal seats. I replaced it with this clip, which will cost thieves more time. Shifts easily and quickly. Update: I should have removed it, but I remembered messing up the slot on the screw when I installed it. I tried drilling through the bolt but it took forever so I managed to just bend the yoke with a screwdriver. I'm not that strong, but it's twisted. However, I replaced it with a Platt clamp. I amโ€ฆ
