Excellent disc for backing up programs or creating movie discs. I mainly use them to backup my audio and video project I'm working on. The printable surface is ideal for labeling your disc with a compatible printer. Be sure to store the finished disc in a regular jewel case, as a simple scratch can ruin the finished disc. Apart from that I love them!

For cheap Blu-ray discs, they work great! I burn thousands of Blu-ray discs for my business each year and have very few stands with those discs. Less than so-called professional brands like JVC/TN and Microboard. I find the inkjet surface to be a little thinner and not as opaque so I gave it 4 stars but they print great on both my Primera printers. They are recorded reliably and quickly both on my towers and on plate manufacturers. I highly recommend them.

Interesting, lights up 8 times while my LG MODISC is only designed for 6x. A tiny stand on the W10 8.5GB image, everything reads fine once installed. The socket was probably a partition between the boot sector and the rest is data, so I can't conclude it's a socket bug, it's an intentional split. I can't say much about the lifespan, let's see if it reads in 5 years. Good bang for your buck guys, don't waste your money on a DL DVD when you can get BR for 3x the space for 35% less.

The first 3 discs in my package are now junk due to copy and rip errors. All three were done directly from Windows, both via the "reusable" option and the "record session once" option. After that I downloaded the free recording software and had no problems. Will definitely be updated as I get more pucks from this pack, but for now it seems like the software is a bigger problem than the discs themselves. FYI the drives have about 23.8GB of free space for the Recording.

Overall: These are some of the worst discs I've ever used. They have a dark burning surface that attracts more dust than other BD-R discs after printing. I always have to run them through a disc cleaner before burning. After recording over 500 movies, none of them had read/write errors or playback/compatibility issues. Received the BD immediately after ordering but was immediately concerned when the disc spindle cracked and broke. The slices looked good, so I left them. I burn wedding videos onto these discs and use these discs for this purpose. After burning a few discs, I checked the discs in my BD player and found that none of the discs played (the authoring software showed that the burn was successful). Updated 8/7/20. I have been praising the PleXdisk BD-R for many years. Let's hope that last group was an accident (KK slept at the wheel for 1 game). There were 12 discs in this group with visible defects (ie horizontal stripes) and these discs were found to be either unwritable (10) or recorded at very low speed (2). I use blank BD-R discs for one purpose only: to record 192k/24bit hi-res FLAC music files for high definition playback. First, I prepare my music files by copying the files from the original CDs to the hard drive in high-resolution 192/24 FLAC files. Sometimes I copy to WAV files 192/24. FLAC and WAV rips deliver the same results, the best possible sound. As a result, the sound is much better than CDs can reproduce.
