I do not recommend this thread for embroidery

I bought it because I stick to homeshopping during Covid. I'm working on a hand embroidery project and just decided I wanted it black. It's too thick for the eye of my needle. Every single thread falls apart. i will return this

Lower quality embroidery thread and floss

I use this floss for embroidery and it's ok and comfortable but definitely not the quality I get in the store. A few strands are worn and "fuzzy" (damaged) and while I can get this to work, cutting off the damaged areas is a bit of a pain. I will use what I already have but will not buy again.

Beautiful embroidery thread

I use it for wrapping, not embroidery. So I can't comment on how it will hold up once the strands are separated. But for winding threads it is ideal. No fuss, no curls - just silky strands. I have a black and white set and both colors are true (i.e. white doesn't turn yellow and black doesn't darken).
