Plumb Pak PP28006 Dishwasher Adapter Review

When I connected this adapter to a faucet, even though it can supply water to my washing machine, I noticed that some water came out which I was a little disappointed with, especially given the price.

I bought this product to replace a portable dishwasher I bought just in case. I have an old caravan model. Haven't had to use it yet but checked on arrival to make sure it was the correct part and as described.

I don't know how it was possible to spoil such a simple thing, but these guys did it. The adapter somehow screws into the faucet, but no matter what I did to the o-rings and tape around the threads, this thing leaks AND makes a "singing" sound when the water is turned on. I suspect the production specs are a bit exaggerated. It works well enough that I still use it (a portable washer plugged into a Kohler faucet), but I need to keep the flow rate down.

I bought an SPT tabletop dishwasher and wasn't sure if the adapter was included so I bought it. The adapter that came with the dishwasher didn't fit the faucet very well. In fact, if I applied sideways pressure to the adapter, it would fall out! So I grabbed this one. The quality was immediately apparent.
