The device is not good, no longer works with software

Bought two days before I found out there was a newer version, Kiwi4, which I also bought. It connects easily with Bluetooth, but rarely with Kiwi software. Only "Connect" is displayed. I was sometimes able to get it to work, but only by unplugging and plugging it back in and restarting my Android (6.01) tablet over and over again. I've used ScanTool devices (MX, MX+) for years, had to stick with them, they never fail. UPDATE I've tested this with other phones/tablets running different Androidโ€ฆ

KIWI3 ODB Scanner & IOS App - Garbage

I paid $100 for ODB Mobile Scanner/Adapter on 03/01/18 and had to purchase the $11 IOS App. Remember using that unwanted adapter 6 months ago when I had to replace the fuel sensor. To get it, I think about 18 months of using a $100 adapter (plus an $11 app) plugged into the same car before it stopped working is just pathetic. You spend $100 and then have to pay another $11 app to get it. use an adapter. $111 for what I think is 18 months of use. What a waste of my money? I decided to return toโ€ฆ

Not worth the price - very disappointed

I have a long list of complaints about this tool. The first red flag is a note in the box that says "Don't go back to Revane, we're here to help." I've contacted the manufacturer twice but only got one response to a small question. The second letter was never answered. Hardware Issues: Annoyingly bright LEDs that never go out (even when the machine is off). Sometimes you need to uninstall/reconnect to pair. Software issues: Only recently did they stop charging for sensor features, but if youโ€ฆ
