Those drills suck!

These drill bits are absolute rubbish. When installing wood trim. Easily drilled into pine boards , they bent and broke. They were like wire and not heat treated. I've never seen drill bits bend like a pretzel. But these drill bits were bent. Just Chinese junk. Buyers beware!

Four thousand clean holes 1 inch deep were drilled with three of these bits. Can not complain!

Could have done with just 2 bits, but I carelessly twisted and truncated one. Nice and sharp, I stacked 4 1/4" oak veneer sheets with an MDF backing, used a sheet of perforated board and a parallel guide, I was able to drill about 2,000 1" deep holes in each drill bit before they started to feel a little blunt. I cut one of these off after about 90 holes because I was in the middle of a project that required drilling 4000 holes and was a bit lazy so I'll attribute it to user error.

Very poorly suited for Brad Point drills

They are very poorly made. Bought a set of ten. As soon as I took them out of the packaging, I could tell that they weren't ground well. The drill seems reasonably well made, but the grinding of the tip of the rod is terrible. Some were wrong. At least one of them was sharpened at a negative angle, so it would probably drill a hole better if the drill was set to reverse. Out of a set of ten, 2 cut very well, 4 were marginal, and 4 required significant pressure to even cut, as if they were very…
