Buy at least two sets

Used on an 04 Sportsman 500 for plowing. Buy at least two sets. I tested them on different points of the spring and it was most effective to place them at the top and bottom. This kept my all-steel plow from sagging about 1.5 inches. Not as much as I'd like, but I wanted something that was easy to put in and take out. Time will tell how long the gum lasts from dry rot.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Not sure

That does not work. Not worth the money.

Don't waste your money on this. They don't fit in the center of the spring as advertised (and in the instructions). Should be routed to the top or bottom of the spring and secured with cable ties. They did not help my athlete's front squat when using the plow. That's why I bought it then. It's better to invest in a set of reinforced springs if you want to increase the weight of the machine.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • boring packaging

Drill a hole, use a cable tie to fix it.

Having 6 of these spacers on my Polaris Sportsman with a Wild Hare Loader. 2 in front with spring buckles and 2 on each side in back. They do the job they are designed for. The springs don't fully compress, but give a little. As others have suggested, drill a ยผ hole about 1" from the end and install the zip tie in place. Don't let them get lost.

Pros
  • Pretty impressive
Cons
  • So-so

But I'm not sure if they help.

I fitted these to my 570 Athlete for the winter to help with front drop when the plow is engaged. I've tried the quad with and without the plow. As far as I can tell, the front still sagged about the same. Maybe with them a little less. Luckily they weren't too expensive. I'll use them with a plow, maybe they can keep the front struts from wearing out over the years. As a tip, mount them in the middle and then secure them with about 2 cable ties.

Pros
  • Wide range
Cons
  • Fits

Last winter I noticed the front of my Polaris 570 was sagging on the plow. I bought these because heavier racks are currently out of my price range. So I raised the quad, let the springs go all the way down and those spacers dipped slightly. I think it took me 10 minutes per side to attach them, tie the cord and position them correctly. I don't have a plow yet, so let's see what changes this year. I will be back in January-April and will update this post. Let's see if they work or not.

Pros
  • Positive Only
Cons
  • Retired
