They work perfectly: Electrician

I wanted to put this unit on my bar counter in the garage so I bought two. I was hesitant at first because of all the negative reviews. I think if I tried to decorate the house maybe they are not perfect. Is it true that they are very light and can easily slip off the table? I needed them to use the new bulbs that flicker amber as decorations for my garage bar, actually to glue them down a bit ha. I wouldn't hesitate to use them anywhere in my house to counteract all the negative reviews. Maybe

The lamp base included is the best quality many have previously considered

This is a great 4 inch lamp base for 60w or less lamps. It has a great finish, a lanyard with a switch, and a 1/4" rubberized pad attached to the base. The pad protects surfaces from metal substrates and has enough friction to stay in place. The pad looks well attached and there are no sharp metal edges. This unit is the best we have found for our use as a base for 60 watt LED UV corn sanitizing germicidal lamps used for Covid-19 room sanitizing. This base would be better and more secure if the

You get what you pay for

I took two of these lamps for a small project - I found two vases at a hardware store and thought it would be better to use them as lamps. I decided to buy two lamp bases to attach to vases to use as table lamps. Not sure if this project would work, I wanted something economical and it certainly fit the bill.
