Description of 🔌 UGREEN USB External Stereo Sound Card Audio Adapter: 3.5mm Aux & 2RCA Converter for Speaker, Headphone, Microphone: Plug and Play on Windows, Mac, Linux, PS5 - 3ft Cable

Important Note: 1. We don't recommend to use the 3.5mm port and RCA port on this adapter simultaneously, because one of the output device’s volume may decrease. 2. Pls kindly note this adapter supports Stereo Sound, NOT surround sound. 3. It do NOT support PS3. 4. This sound adapter can NOT be used to connect TV directly. This USB external sound card adds a Mono microphone-in, a 3.5mm audio-out and 2RCA left and right audio-out ports to your computer through a USB port, which enables you to connect your existing headphones, headset, speakers, or microphone with 3.5mm jack to your PC through a USB interface. Compared with other usb sound cards in market, it offers you 2 options for audio output, 3.5mm aux and 2RCA, which makes it compatible with more external speakers.【NOTE: RCA is for audio output NOT for input】. Additional USB stereo audio adapter: It is perfect to bypass a faulty sound card, audio port, or as a replacement for a broken USB audio adapter. Superb Sound Quality: USB External Stereo Sound Adapter adopted Advanced C-Media IC technology for optimal sound quality and device performance. It is constructed of durable ABS housing and with ultra compact design. Easy to set up: no driver required, just plug and play! USB bus-powered, no external power required. The attached 1m/3ft cable reduces stress on the USB port and won't block the adjacent ports on your computer. Compatible with PS5/PS4 and any standard USB Audio Class enabled system including Windows 10/8.1/8/7/Vista/XP, Mac OS X, Linux and Google Chromebook, Windows Surface 3 pro, Raspberry Pi etc.

Works well but no stereo separation

Arrived on time and I found the product support very good. The device was immediately recognized by the system. The only issues that came up were that the speaker jacks are for RCA and the speakers I used were plugged into a desktop jack, not RCA. I had to rewire the speakers to hide them on an RCA connector. Second, the device offers stereo separation when using headphones. However, there is no stereo separation when external speakers are used. This issue has not been resolved.

Works surprisingly well, especially for the price.

How: Easy to use, just connect to the PC, then adjust the PC's bit depth and sample rate, done. I tried it with both the PC and my Samsung Galaxy S9, both worked very well. I hooked it up to a tube preamp and amp on my Elac Debut 2.0 6.2 and it sounded surprisingly good. This is a very good and cheap option for a DAC. Dislikes: It doesn't have its own power supply so it drains your phone, but there's no problem using it with a PC. I haven't tried the headphone jack, so I can't comment on that.

not just amazing OMG amazing

I have a pretty decent stock sound card but it's getting old. I got random distortions that bothered me. Considering the price I decided to give it a try. MY GOD! Maybe I'm imagining it, but I think I can hear the guitarist's fingers stroking the strings. The sound quality is incredible. And I didn't notice any difference in my CPU or RAM performance. Highly recommended. (If you're interested, I'm using the 3.5mm jack, not the RCA connectors)

Wow this is great quality

This product is so good someone has done a really good job the sound is superb as far as my ears can tell. I don't have the specs to come up with my own answers. to use it's easy itself is very comfortable to use it only works if you need headphones it works if you want to print it through your surround sound system or whatever sound system you have it works I'm very happy with it I wish , I could give it It has more than five stars, I will definitely buy it again and recommend it to others to…

Best performance among computers and accessories

External sound cards just keep getting better. This model uses the newer C-Media CM6533 chip. The specs say it only records a mono mic signal, but I've found that it actually records in stereo with a TRS stereo signal (ignoring bias for electret mics): T = peak = left channel; R=ring=right channel; S=sleeve=contact point. Update: After contacting UGREEN tech support, they explained that the signal only looks like stereo, but the same signal is shared between the left and right channels.

Pros
  • Top marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Boring packaging

Good sound for the price.

As a hobby I assemble/repair audio equipment. I have an old Dell computer that I use in my garage at work. This is my music source for the workshop and also for testing devices. A while ago the sound chip got corrupted by something plugged into it so that's what I got. Basically I got it because it has both RCA output and 1/8" jacks. I really wasn't expecting much from it. I have to say I'm amazed by the sound quality. For me it sends a signal to the old MCS 3360 receiver with Bose 301 set and…

Good product with a caveat

UGREEN USB is a good product but with a misleading error. As far as I can tell, background inputs are not inputs. The product looks like it's all input, like a device to transfer cassettes or turntables to a computer to create MP3s. However, the two phono inputs are outputs instead. Other than that, the microphone input works as expected and serves my purpose. I had to route the phono output from the mixer to the computer, bypassing the inputs on the motherboard. This works great for the money.

It fits me perfectly

It fits me perfectly. I have an Acer All-in-One (Windows 10) with no real sound card output (just a simple headphone jack). I bought some powered speakers and used this UGREEN device to connect a PC to the speaker's RCA inputs. It worked without drivers and only took about 10 seconds to set up Win10 when I plugged it into a USB port for the first time. All sounds pass through the UGREEN device, including system sounds - it actually replaces your PC's built-in sound device. It will show up as…

Works as intended. for external sound cards

I bought these to connect a condenser microphone and a headphone amplifier to it. This thing cannot provide any form of phantom power, although with the Neewer phantom power adapter it produces very clear sound from its ADC. His DAC is clean enough, but for some reason I'm plugged into my Bravo Audio V3 headphone amp from the RCA jacks. To be honest I'm not exactly sure if it was a DAC or an amplifier. I'm leaning towards the DAC so I returned it and replaced it with a $40 Behringer model…
