2015 Armada Pollak 7 Pin Socket

After replacing the pollak that was originally installed by Nissan in our 2015 Armada. This one fits perfectly even after we have to straighten the frame that supports it.

Pros
  • Pleasant
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product

GM Exact Replacement for Block 2001 GMC Sierra C3

This is an exact replacement for my factory GM fork (2001 GMC Sierra C3). The GM version actually has a "pollak" on the back, no GM! I tried Hopkins and Reese and they looked the same but didn't work. Some minor wiring issues prevented my trailer's turn signals from working.

Pros
  • Excellent Construction
Cons
  • Reliability

Close but not as good as OEM.

Fits well in factory metal case but too much play in lid hinge. This gap prevents the cover from being completely flush and can allow dust to enter the seam. Also, the latch on the back of the door that holds the plug in place when towing is too far forward and doesn't hook into my trailer plug like the original. I ALMOST wish I'd paid the extra $25 to get an OEM GM fork.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Hard to tell

No Tools Required - Trailer Accessories

Purchased for a 2011 Chevy Silerado. It replaces the plug used to fill the slot where the factory plug should be. The replacement took about 5 minutes and required no tools. general. The truck already had wiring for it. I didn't even have to crawl under the truck. I simply unscrewed the connector, disconnected the wiring harness, connected and screwed it down. Factory plug, you should look in the manual.

Pros
  • Good Value
Cons
  • Upgrades

Twist Lock Socket - Connectors

I bought this for my 2013 Chevy Half Ton Pickup. The instructions were very vague and where if you bought a separate mount. My device was installed directly into the original factory hole in the bumper. it fits perfectly! A little guide on how to pull the MANKET connector out of the hole and how to disconnect the factory wiring harness that is connected to the dummy would be nice. But after struggling with that, everything came back with no problems. Be careful not to break. Crack the harness…

Works perfect! 2011 Silverado WT

This product was exactly as described. That works great. I have a 2011 Chevrolet Silverado. I have a WT package so it already has trailer wiring but no outlet. This part twisted and hooked perfectly. The only minor fault I have with it (and it doesn't really bother me) is that it's not as big as GM's, so you can see the slot it screws into (hard to explain) but like I said, no big deal here. still fits well and actually looks nice too (better than the empty useless plate that came with it)…

Pros
  • great product
Cons
  • poorly thought out

5 minutes to install and works great on my 2007 Chevy Silverado 2500

old. with cracked plastic and wire to a new generic one. I would probably need several hours. Instead, I found this at Revain. When it arrived I pulled the cable connector off the back of the old connector, unscrewed the old socket, unscrewed this new connector and snapped the cable connector onto the new connector. I used a 7 page tester to confirm and it was all done in 5 minutes! This socket is designed for tough use and the spring on the cover keeps the mating connector perfectly in…

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors

Fits 2013 Nissan Titan Pro4X 4X4 with Tractor Trailer Pack

I have a 2013 Nissan Titan Pro4X 4X4 with a factory trailer kit and it was a direct replacement, the wiring harness fits, everything was a direct replacement, everything worked fine once I installed the new one. I've never changed these, just old fashioned ones with soldering etc. Took me 5 mins max, from start to finish. You'll need a flathead screwdriver and pliers to unscrew the old block if it needs a little coaxing. If you really want to get it right, use a rag and a can of WD-40 to clean…

Pros
  • . Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Not bad but...
