My bird LOVES to sit and chew on this! These fabric tulips make great, highly recommended natural perches and gummy bears.

Both ends of the rope have washers and wing nuts so the rope pole is easy to set up. The rope has a wire core that allows it to be easily bent into the desired shape. This is my cockatiel's favorite spot. They sit on it all the time and use it as a freeway to go down, up and around the cage depending on where I put it. The only downside is that the rope gets dirty and I wipe it off, but I'm afraid to rub it in the sink so it can get infected over time.

This item consists of a rope loosely wrapped around a loose metal wire. Way for my bird the core end of the wire jumped out of the rope and was sharp, a real safety concern for any bird that likes to gnaw on their ropes. Also, the PVC plastic end caps you use to attach them to the sides of the cage are notched/sharp and look like someone kneed them down to size instead of actually making them to size to cut.
