This hardwood perch is a fantastic addition to my bird's cage. Based on our own experience my bird loves it! The natural wood material adds a touch of the outdoors to his indoor cage .The length is perfect for him to fly from side to side and encourages exercise. The only downside is that it's a bit pricey compared to other perches on the market in the Pet Supplies category. However, the quality and durability of this perch make it worth the INVESTMENT. highly recommend!

Like everything new, the bird has to get used to it. She just hangs around outside the cage, afraid to get inside. But tonight she will have to do it. And the perch was too big to squeeze in, so I angled it and didn't use both washers to secure it. Now that she's using it, it fits her feet perfectly. Update, the snow stripped most of the bark off the pole but didn't fall on it like it used to with the old smaller diameter pole. It really suits her feet and will hopefully tame the sharpness of…
