Great thread, amazing price and quality

As a newbie to machine embroidery, I was nervous about buying thread with such conflicting reviews. I was concerned that my limited abilities would require as few obstacles to success as possible. But every time I did the math, the cost of the competing stream tripled. So I did a little research, read other reviews and found: 1. Glossy polyester thread is silky and smooth. Love/hate relationship with this thread

I bought these to use with my brother LB6800PRW (aka SE400). I'm new to sewing and wanted enough thread to play with without spending a fortune. The price is very cheap and the colors are beautiful. The finished product looks smooth, shiny and bright. The coils are complete bullshit. Each spool comes with a plastic cap that keeps the filament securely in place when not in use, so I'm not sure why others cut off the top to make room for the filament or use tape.
