    Excellent except dog lock

    The collar works great with one exception. The buckle closure makes it difficult to snap. I removed the lock, now everything works fine.

    Closure function: The collar is not easy to put on. I have to keep untying the collar when putting it on a dog. This is a very inconvenient feature.

    Beautiful collar in Pinch Collars

    I love the style and lightness of this collar. My only gripe is that it takes an enormous amount of power to add additional links. My American Bully is growing fast and I can't add the length I need.

    ROBUST AND POWERFUL! for dogs

    I have had many collars with prongs, none of them compare to this one. I have a very strong muscular dog (100-120lbs) and this keeps him in check! Beautiful color (red) and very well made. Will NOT fall apart any time soon. Highly recommended!

    Too big for a small dog

    Nice collar. Well made, durable, good quality. But too small for my 13lb bich-poo. The size says up to 17 inches, your dog needs to be around 17 inches tall for this to work. If your dog is big enough for this collar I would recommend it.

    Not suitable for pulling dogs.

    Great concept: 1. it doesn't look like the dog is wearing a collar with spikes and 2. the covered spikes are not that aggressive to the skin. In dogs that pull (hence they need tines), the tiny plastic clip broke in half and the dog escaped within the first week. I had to go back.

    Not bad for the price

    We have bought many different collars for our dog. I've always been concerned about using a collar. It's safe, well designed and worth the price. However, it doesn't really work to keep him under control any better than his martingale collar. He's still active when his usual triggers—kids, motorcyclists, landscapers—throw him off course. He's not a threat, he's just scared a lot.

    Captivating hair for collars, harnesses and leashes

    Overall this is a great product but I recommend it for short haired dogs! I have a Goldendoodle and he keeps getting stuck in his hair! It hasn't been as long as I've cared for, and even if your dog isn't smooth-haired, he'll snag the Velcro around a real spiked collar! The links weren't that easy to remove and add, and that might be because they're new, but I'm not sure.

    The teeth are very large

    The teeth on this training collar are very large. I have a dog that weighs about 20 pounds and has very large fangs. The jagged part of the collar is well done. The tips on the caps are a nice touch and since these pens are so long and quite sharp they are much needed. The collar can be adjusted by removing a few pins, which I did. They fit snugly, so if you're having trouble with arm mobility, you may need help. I think that's because the tines are big and don't have a big curve. The outer…
