Custom made to fit your Porsche from a Porsche OEM at half the price

Struts are fantastic The manufacturer is a genuine supplier to Porsche Do they really fit my 2006 997 911 coupe. They cost half the price of the exact same Porsche branded part. There is a video on YouTube showing how to install them and I installed them on my computer in less than 10 minutes. It was very nice to be able to do the work yourself and save money on going to the dealer. The details are perfect, you will not be disappointed 5 stars!

Perfect fit, easy install

I used these to replace the originals on my 2005 997.1 C2S Cab. They cost a fraction of the cost of a Porsche. However, they even have similar inscriptions and are otherwise indistinguishable from the originals. The exchange took no more than 10 minutes. They come with new clips so you don't have to worry if you let a clip fly. You also don't have to remove the clips on the new shocks to install them - they just snap into place. Before the replacement, my hood (trunk lid) would not open on its…

Easy to put on after the old ones are detached

On my 2007 997 I used a small flathead screwdriver to loosen and pry the clips on each end of the old knuckles and they popped out, if you turned them use a large flathead screwdriver located behind the end of the post. The new ones just came out. Everything is done in less than five minutes. The lid now gently lifts to the fully raised position once it reaches halfway, which is great. I decided it was time to replace these things when my daughter nearly got her hand caught under the falling…

Pros
  • Great value
Cons
  • Big and bulky

Replaced my flimsy original 987.1 cowl braces with these great value Revains. Never go to a dealer for something like this. The Stabilus brand, both new and with them, is essentially OEM equivalent. Anyway, have a friend hold the cowl and use a small flat head to gently pry the black metal clips enough to slide them into the notches/lugs on the ball end of the strut. Leave that good OEM factory grease on the ball, don't wipe it off. If it's dry, use quality material. You'll find that you need…

The right way to replace those storage shelves!

As with all things Porsche, there's only one right way to get everything done without complications (like losing an eye, cutting your scalp, or scratching the paint). To install these struts easily and without hassle and to avoid pushing out the paint on your Porsche, first take masking tape and apply it to the underside of the hood and inner fenders around the original strut ball and pan mounting points , if you fool around in it next step. Now grab a broomstick, a piece of PVC pipe, or…
