I bought a set of 19.2 volt drills/saws two years ago. Batteries were the first problem. I had trouble charging, but upon opening it I found that one of the wires was no longer soldered. I fixed it and the batteries worked fine. There were no problems with charging, I use it every day. I bought this drill with a 6" saw and was very disappointed. This drill replaced an old 14.4v drill that I used professionally. Use it at home, 19th century .7 runs rougher, sparkles a lot and has a non-brand cartridge that jams (unlike the Jacobs cartridge on 14.4. The curves are tight again. I have two of these drill bits, one is also a hammer drill. the older of the two is about 2 1/2 years old (not the GTF model) and is used every day. I still drive with the original batteries. Just the other day the chuck assembly fell out of the drill when attempting to drill a 1/2" hole with a long drill and threw out 2 6x6 drill bits.
