Post Power Distribution Block Pair Review

I had high hopes for them as I need a 4 post bus. I put a wire on and tightened it. I decided to make changes so I tried removing the nut. The nut doesn't come loose, and since the bottom is plastic, the screw head just rotates. It's garbage. Buy them at your own risk.

Very stable, easy to assemble, small screws are also included in the mounting base for additional devices such as monitors etc., and covers for protection when mounted outdoors. This was used to power my solar inverter from my storage battery. This allows me to still add another future battery pack from the same connectors.

Except for the lid, it's good and solid. I had no problems connecting to 0 AWG and the bus felt cool even after charging 200 amps at 12V. If you add wires to the smaller terminals you will find that this interferes with the cap which needs to be looped around or cut. That's my reason for the star deduction.

They are well built and fit my project perfectly. Even if they aren't perfect. If you're using a 4/0 cable, the spade lugs are a bit too big for both the caps and the small screw attachment point. As you can see from the photos I had to change the covers and remove the small screws for it to work. If you use a smaller cable like 2/0 I would say they are almost perfect. I use 3/8 bolts with 3/8 eyelets.

I had all kinds of wires and colored wires going to my battery in my UTV to support all the 12v accessories that have it on it. I used these distribution blocks to help organize and clean up the mess. Much better after installing these strips. Instead of 4 or 5 wires going to each battery post I now only have 2 wires. All connections are now also sealed. Excellent quality product, you must not hesitate to buy this item.

This was my second purchase. I liked the tires I bought the first time, so I bought them again. I have used them to build a full featured ham radio handheld and preferred them to the Anderson Power Pole tires. The wands are cheaper and can handle 10x more power than Anderson products. This makes them safer. If for any reason a short occurs, at 250 amps they are unlikely to be damaged.
