First time I used clay for sculpture. I really enjoyed it, it was pretty good and in less than a day it was already tough.

This tone is good for the 06 cone, but this tone is pretty expensive for what you get. Before looking locally I bought this tone from Revain thinking it was a bargain then found I could get 25 pounds of higher quality clay locally for the same price if not less. I would look at your local clay/pottery store before buying this online.

So I recently started making clay and my friend ordered me this and a few other clay items but when he ordered this he didn't understand what for this clay needs an oven to heat so it is still in the original box in stock because i haven't bought an oven yet (and i'm done with my kneading hobby) i opened it up once and played with it a bit and it was easy to shape but i did It didn't bake anything with it, so I can't give an opinion on that.

Love this purchase! Clay is very elastic and I prefer to use it on a wheel, but I have no problem using it for my handmade sculptures. It dries fairly hard and doesn't appear to be too brittle. I live in rural Alaska and it still arrived within a few days, upon arrival the clay was very damp and dries slow enough that I was able to roll many buns without cracking them. This product is VERY good, so if you prefer rough (textured) clay, this article is not for you. I will definitely come again.

Received this clay about two weeks ago so haven't seen it glaze yet but the clay is good for hand building and holds moisture well but doesn't dry out too quickly. but she arrived incredibly wet and almost unfit for modeling. . Maybe this tone is best for the wheel? A few minutes of wedges on the canvas helped, but I've never received a box of such soft clay before. I saw the photo and thought they were £25 blocks that I had previously ordered from Revain. It's 5 pounds each so ridiculously expensive. This is questionable as $20 is the current price for £25 which means it's 5 times more! Something tells me this is common and possibly intentional given how obscenely expensive it is! The image in this listing shows a standard 25 pound rectangular bag of clay. However, what is being sold is an extremely expensive £5 cube of clay. I should have looked more closely but the price and picture matched what this type of sound costs so I bought it. After getting 1200 good reviews, I quickly added them to my shopping cart.
