The spark on the coil lasted 30 seconds. We chased everything else on the bike. As a result I replaced the coil with an old one from another bike and now it works.

Worked great on my Yamaha Warrior so add this to the list of a too great cheap replacement if you want to hit it too fast but are on a budget

You MUST remove the threaded end of the spark plug to use this coil; Otherwise you will break the connecting tab inside the boot that touches the end of the spark plug.

In order to fit the spark plug, the tip must be removed from the spark plug, making it susceptible to a loose connection. It is clearly stated to fit my 1999 Blaster, but that's not certain.

I used this once to change the spark plug so I had to remove the cover from the spark plug, guess what happens, the plastic in the cover breaks 3 parts . Why do they need plastic in the trunk? idk has not had good experiences with it.

For those who say it doesn't fit a standard spark plug, I thought the same. You must unscrew the spark plug's "cap" and expose the threads, then it slides into place. Perfect fit and good performance so far.

Liked: Works well and gives a great spark. Dislikes: Not a direct replacement, compatible with multiple settings. The plug cord is very long, I made a loop and zipped it up so it doesn't get in the way of the pipe, which I don't like with plug cords. You will also need to cut the factory coil wire and attach a spade connector to it to connect the new coil.

Okay I've seen all these reviews that it doesn't fit but those are other people they're not me so I bought it. I have to say if you decide to buy this, do it and one day delivery is only $3 more! Great product, I have a 2001 blaster and it can be fitted with a spark plug cap which needs to be removed to install. My blaster worked perfectly! I would definitely recommend this!
